Bare Minerals Flawless Definiton Mascara Review

You can refer to my San san mascara review and tell that I have short eye lashes and that I can definitely find a good use for lengthening mascaras. Bare Minerals' Flawless Definition Mascara not only lengthens my lashes in a natural way, it is able to separate and coat my lashes sans the notorious clumping!

The photo above uses one layer of the mascara (black). Quite perfect for an everyday look, don't you think?

Thanks to its fine-toothed comb brush that tapers at the end, I am able to reach the hairs on the inner corner of my eye without being anxious about accidentally staining the skin.

What I love:

  • lashes look natural, defined and black
  • longwearing, no raccoon eyes within an 8-hour period
  • non-flaking
  • 2-3 coats add more drama to the lashes, perfect for events
  • has no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance and dyes
  • washes off easily

Uh-ohs:

  • Bare Minerals flawless definition mascara isn't locally available
  • not cheap at $18 for the full-size (I hesitate to spend over 400php for a mascara)
  • locally unavailable

Here's a photo of my lashes without mascara.:

Now compare how defined and vibrant my eyes looked after a coat of Bare Minerals Flawless Definition mascara:

I will not think twice about recommending the Bare Minerals Flawless Definition mascara to those who want clump-free, separated, long lashes! Now that my mini-size tube is almost out, I'm bound to face the local unavailability problem, pretty much like the girls whom I'm recommending this mascara to!

  1. I like this! Perfect for day time. It doesn't look clumped pa.

What I do now is apply a think layer on a lash comb and apply mascara with a lash comb. At least now I know there's something like this.

Thanks for the tip :) I may have to resort to that when I used up the tube to its last gunk.

  9. I've tried a lot of good mascaras -Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique and Fairy Drops but the best so far is VMV. A bit pricey at P1000 (but the cheapest compared to the above)though I was able to get it at 50% during their sale last October. I've been using it everyday for the past 3 mos and there's no clumping or smearing. Definitely worth purchasing.
