As if the jammed December streets aren't enough to stress us out, there's the unfinished December shopping list waiting to be done. Now if you'd like this year's holidays a lot less stressful than last year's, rock that list with the help of an infallible one-stop shop-- when in Manila, shop at Uniqlo SM City San Lazaro! @uniqlo_official @smcitysanlazaro

Japan's number one clothing apparel brand has opened its 20th store in the country last December 5, 2014 and they're spreading the holiday cheers by bringing the best deals in town! I wasted no time and scoured the (oh, so clean!) store for stuff I highly recommend for inaanaks, moms, dads, besties or special someones.

Roll out those red on-sale tags!

Starting with the ladies: sweet Merino striped and plain sweaters, coloured cropped legging pants, and awesome hoodies with cute cartoon prints.

Uniqlo's Heattech apparel-- perfect for you girlfriends who fancy working out in airconditioned gyms!

Some items without the discount but are still worth checking out: colored shirts, basic pique polo shirts, slub shirts, patterned leggings, and more legging pants!

A couple of  "for him's":

1. Slim fir coloured jeans

2. Heattech accessories

3. Long and short sleeved character shirts

Regular-priced items he will surely like include coloured walking shorts and nice belts:

For the little boys and girls-- some fleece jackets for the brrrr months, hoodies, basic tees, heat tech apparel and some long sleeved polo shirts!

The newly opened Uniqlo SM City San Lazaro will not leave you wanting; they have the best holiday presents for everyone in your list! Follow @smcitysanlazaro on instagram and you might even win for yourself a brand new mobile phone!

@uniqlo_official @smcitysanlazaro is located at the Upper Ground Floor, near the Event Center.

On Stranger Thighs

I woke up one day to realize that more than a handful of my slacks and jeans are already too small for my hips and thunder thighs. The only pants that seemed fitting was this Plains and Prints beige number.

I panicked. Whose thighs are these, awfulgawd! And then it suddenly dawned on me ...

If it weren't for my retarded potato binging, I wouldn't be this problematic on hauling new bottoms!

I prey on Pringles and french fries in response to stress, you see, and this week alone, I managed to finish up 1box+1tall can of Pringles with bouts of McDonald's french fries whenever I feel like it.

Potato overdose is really bad for the health. I know I better figure out a healthier way in response to stress --- the anti-jiggly arms exercise will definitely not work for my huge logs, errr, legs.

Heads up to those living near SM North: the Great Northern Sale includes practically everything! Except for the navy blue cap I scored at the men's department, I was able to haul beauty and clothing staples at discounted prices!

The scarves at the ladies department were so lovely it was hard to pass up on them! The ones I got were on 10% discount.

November's Ending Real GOODY for Me!

I'm all smiles with the new Goody Mini Spin Pin I got from the Goody event last Wednesday. I am very much considering this hair tool a major pre-Christmas gift to me! Akshwely, kahit ito nalang matanggap ko ngayong pasko, solb nako (I can survive Christmas 2011 with just this gift)! Yes, I'm that easy to please, hee. (For the non-tangible gift this Xmas, I want my bestfriend back... I still cry out of the blue when I think of him)

Actual sizes of the mini spin pins I got. And jeeezz, I actually thought I was a redhead but Ms. Rochelle of Goody Philippines gave me the pins in blonde (it comes in 2 colors, blonde and brunette btw):

After the event, I dropped by the Post to get some packages.

Lakas loob mag OOTD, mwahaha. Pagbigyan nyo na ang nagmumurang kamatis... siyempre kelangang sumabay sa mga bagets (I am not dressing my age, LOL):

You know I had to fix that belt :D

Hanep, lume-label pa ng outfit!

Like Goody Philippines on Facebook or follow them on Twitter! I can't wait to talk to you about the fun event and on how great the mini spin pins were for my shoulder-length hair!

Fringes, bronzes and smudged eye makeup go well together, eh?

I was delighted to see these two lovely ladies wearing Chloë Sevigny Mary Janes x Opening Ceremony-inspired platforms:

The Inspiration

Helga Weber got it from Lovely Shoes (overseas), Lana Tiotuyco, from JCube Online (local reseller!).

The real deal at three-hundred ninety-five-whopping dohllahz:

Helga's style: MJs with shorts, Lana's style: MJs with dress. Cool noh?

Throw Me Anythin Cheap

Because I luhuuvvv all things pretty and cheap :)

Do you ever snob those 10-peso miscellaneous stores you find in the mall (lahat sampung piso store)? I actually regret the days I did the day I found a couple of nice bracelets from them. I got some beaded bracelets, three of which I wore here:

2 for 15 pesos --- not bad!

The downside to this great bargain is that you'll definitely end up bumping into someone wearing the same stuff since the store keeps a gazillion of each piece. Also, there isn't much of a variety in the designs and colors.

Pairing them with a white & silver cuff

The beads below, minus the neon coolness, are VERY similar to those I got (both photos from http://littlesequinbook.blogspot.com):

The colors are more like these:

I feel triumphant every time I score pieces that are durrrt cheap. And with stores like these around, my addiction for cheap stuff will never go hungry!

Julu Jewelry: Golden Bow Earrings

I love my Golden Bow earrings from Julu Jewelry. If you can still recall, I sounded really ecstatic when my orders from Steph, owner of Julu, finally reached my doorstep!

Untitled-1
Julu Jewelry Golden Bow Earrings in Deep Sea Blue

It's been 5 months since I've been wearing the pair and they are still in top shape! No fading, no changes in the quality of the stones. The deep sea blue heart design. They are still absolutely perfect as when I first saw them!

Bayo, Why Are You So Priceeeeey?

I really wanted this Bayo scalloped, gray top.

Although it was a little big for me (says the BF) and that they don't have my size anymore, I still wanted to get it and just have it altered. BUT, when I checked the tag, it there was no way I'm cashing out P990ish for this. I would rather add a few more hundred pesos and get something from Mango/Zara. I kinda hated myself because I wanted to support Filipino brands. However, the quality of this Bayo top wasn't worth the tag at all.

I ended up buying the jeans instead. It had a thick and sturdy fabric with a good price to boot. And they had it in a size that fits me.

I'm not sure why I dropped by the store that day (I usually don't kasi. Maybe because this top caught my eye and I wanted to look like a mermaid for a change). I only buy Bayo goodies during their 50% OFF sale events. I feel that the store's putting on the REAL price tags on these days.

Clothstruck: Nancy Z

Happy Sunday, everyone! Nancy Zhang pioneers The Beauty Bin's new series called, 'Clothstruck', a chain of fashion posts dedicated to the fashionable people I adore.

If you frequent Lookbook, you might agree with me that Nancy Z is probably among the site's hot tickets. I love her because she inspires me to draw despite the fact that art is my weakest point and that I've always thought of myself unfit to sketch. I adore her style and her lovely illustrations:

She restyles the H&M dress seen in the first photo above with a less
chunkier necklace + sans the trench coat

Some of her looks that are wearable in our country's kind of weather are:

Don't you just wanna pick up that pen and sketch? Nancy Z is such an adorable artist in my opinion. She currently has 180ish looks on Lookbook that you may want to check out further.
